Selina walked the city street in midday. Passing a line of well decorated stores, people coming and going out of them like flowing water. It was that time of year again. Selina never really celebrated the holidays well from what she remembered. It always seemed like such a depressing time. To be truthful she couldn't remember enjoying it once or even getting a present from anyone . She turned as an old man bumped into her carrying at least four large bags full of random object. " Hey get out of the way" He yelled not even looking back. She didn't even take the time to glare at him, she was to busy trying to remind herself why she was even outside again. OH right the condo was starting to get stuffy. Selina took in a good full breath of Gotham air before sighing deeply, closing her eyes for only a second to relax. When she opened them again she was facing a small store. The display window was fulled with gifts of all kinds. Long gold garland wrapped around their bases. From all the lovely sights in the window only one caught her eye. A small Snow globe with a gold and brown base, a sweet scene of a well light tree inside. Without even thinking Selina walked into the store. And when she walked out she had a small bag in hand. Of course of the globe inside. She opened the bag to peep in on her globe. " Merry Christmas Selina" She said softly to herself with a small grin. As she admired her gift, someone without any warning bumped into her side making the globe slip out of the small paper shopping bag. Selina quickly snaked it out of the air as quickly as humanly possible. Seeming as if she was out of breath from the shock.

"and just when the world grew dark..."
a giggle. a smirk. an almost broken snow globe. one quick woman. one angry woman. oh, goody. michaelan looked unwaveringly at the woman who caught the snow globe."you know, you can't always depend on the other person to be looking in front of them." her voice was uneven, gravely.
those eyes were red, showing every emotion she felt. her greatest weakness, she had been told. a quick sigh and she started to walk again. she hoped the other woman wasn't a nutcase like everyone else in Gotham, including mickey. another broken giggle. she glanced down at her wrists; why did shedo it this time? why wouldn't she finish it? maybe she just loved the pain...
where was she going? oh right; she needed to get a new pair of jeans. her last job torched them a bit too much. speaking of her last job, there it was. the beautiful foundation that once held a house full of drugs and hate. she was usually random about these jobs, but she figured that she could kill two birds with one stone. another giggle; another smirk...
