Birthplace/Hometown:
Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Physical Profile:
Taylor Jayde Rogerson is a rather small woman, not very tall, not very big. She has little muscle and doesn't really take the time to work out. Despite her rough way of living, she is seen as very clean person. Her skin is very clean and virtually flawless, except for the few nicks and bruises she gets from her clumsiness. Her brown hair is long, thick and never done up in any special way. She rarely does anything with it. It is has a slight natural wave to it and she likes to keep it that way. Her eyebrows are the exact same color as her hair and are always seen to be in a thin line above her eyes. Her eyes are also in the color to match her hair and eyebrows as well.
Taylor's casual attire is rather, well, casual. Jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, the rare bag every now and then. Her clothes aren't designer by no means and are very scarce in numbers. She does not own that much clothing, but she does keep her clothes in very good condition. She washes them to perfection, irons them. So, the five dollar t-shirt she bought at Walmart looks as good as a hundred dollar shirt from a designer store. Taylor doesn't have the money to blow it all on clothes and such, but she does look presentable every day. Her attire may not be that of a shopaholic, but she looks in her clothes. Clothes she takes care of and keep for a very, very long time. She is a fan of colors and likes to wear t-shirts with colors that stand out. Her attire is virtually the same every day, skinny jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt. She doesn't make a big deal out of what she wears. Though some people would say she dresses like that of a tenth grader.
Personality:
Taylor can be slightly moody at times. Sometimes she wants to be surrounded by people and other times she pushes them away. Her temper has gotten her in trouble many times before. She is easily annoyed and shows when she is. Making friends or getting people to like her has never really been an over easy thing for her to do. She is a very defensive person and misinterprets a lot. Though, despite her moodiness, Taylor can be a very caring and king person. She cares about other peoples feelings, the feelings of those she likes anyway. She feels good when she makes others feel good and make others smile. Even though she may not be the best at it, she loves meeting new people and making friends.
Taylor, when she does take the time to get to know someone and become close to them, she becomes very close to them. She can be very protective and even sometimes jealous if she becomes close to a person. Though, when she gets mad at someone, she can be entirely different. When she is mad at someone she shows her sarcastic, judgemental and disrespectful. Respect is a very high up thing in Taylor's life. If you gain Taylor's respect, well your on easy street with her. Though, if you loose her respect, you can go through hell and back and you regain it. She sees respect as something everyone should show to everyone. No one deserves to be disrespected.

Background and History:
Taylor Jayde Rogerson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. her family wasn't the richest in town, but they were not below the poverty line. Though, the bad thing is, Taylor's parents didn't care about their children. They didn't care if they smoked, did drugs, had sex, anything. That's why Taylor despised her childhood. Growing up, Taylor was alone in school, she didn't have people she could actually call friends. This was until grade three when a young boy named Austin Davis moved to town and started going to Taylor's school. The two quickly became friends as, when it came to their parents, they were on the same boat. They were friends all throughout high school and even started dating each other when grade eight came around. From then until the end of their first year out of school did they remain together.
The two were going to get married, but the house they had bought right before they finished grade twelve was broken into and Austin tried to defend himself and his wife to be, though he was killed in the process. Taylor then left Detroit, without telling her parents, and moved to Gotham. Once in Gotham, she quickly found a job and started living with one of her colleagues until she could afford her own house. This did not take very long, she got the money and bought a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment room in a small apartment complex. She is currently living in this apartment by herself and working at the bar, where she has been working since she arrived at Gotham, seven years ago. Since being here, Taylor has experienced everything that went on with the Batman and the Joker and though Gotham may have so much crime, Taylor really doesn't feel that any of it will come to haunt her. Is she right or is she simply mistaken.
Any Special Abilities?
Growing up, Taylor didn't do much to be able to do something special. She see's herself as very untalented and holding no ability of any that she can do better then everyone else, though people always do compliment her on her ability of making drinks at the bar she works at.
Pets:
Diva (Dog, Female, Husky).
Name of Play By:
Kathryn Bailey "Kate" Beckinsale.
Example Role Play:
It was cold, dark and just plain miserable. Well, that is what Crime Alley was like every single day. It was full of criminals, crazy homeless and the clinically insane. It was not safe anytime of day for anybody. People could only try and count how people have either been stabbed or shot in this alley over the years. Luckily for one woman though, she had not been touched by anyone in the four years she had been going through there. Shawn Eva Mercer, a twenty seven year old, single female had been working at the local bar in Crime Alley for the past four years. She had walked through the alley every single day to get to and from work. The worst thing that has happened to her is hearing all the crude comments about her as she would walk past sex driven members of the male sex. Since having started to work at the bar, Shawn has come to know her collegues and regular customers very well. Though most customers seem to mistake the place a strip club rather then a bar and mistake Shawn for some kind of easy waitress. Over the years Shawn has learned to deal with everything that goes down in the worst place in Gotham, Crime Alley. She has seen people be killed, she has seen people be kidnapped, raped. She has seen it all and even though she won't admit it, she is scared for her life every single day she walks through the Alley.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Angelina" Shawn yelled back as she left the bar. Shawn began walking through Crime Alley and hadn't even gone four steps before realizing it was raining and automatically putting the hood of her sweater up over her big hair. She adjusted her back pack and began to walk a little faster, trying to get to the bus stop faster. As she continued to walk, she noticed homeless men staring at her and whispering comments, sexual comments, to their friends. Though she had gone through it for years, Shawn still was disgusted by it. Even though she didn't live in a big house and didn't own a big company like Bruce Wayne, she apparantly had no class whatsoever. She was nothing but a piece of meat to these people, a piece of vulnerable meat at that. Shawn knew that if someone wanted to kidnap her, they would have absolutely no trouble doing it. She wasn't very strong and even if she did scream, nobody in Crime Alley would care. She would simply be a goner and she had nobody that actually cared for her, so nobody would probably notice if one lousy, unknown woman went missing. Women went missing all the time in Gotham, everybody seemed to be used to it now and weren't surprised anymore. Shawn Mercer was alone in this world, she had nobody that cared about, nobody that really knew her and nobody that could tell her that they loved her. She hadn't heard the words 'I love you,' in such a long time.
